I want to make it abundantly clear that what follows are personal comments made in response to the new rules being implemented at the Power2surf.com but take into account the current environment created by the many recent and not so recent events that affect and continue to affect the "Paid to (insert surf/read/click)" industry.

It is official "another Autosurf/Traffic Exchange Website " has crossed over to the dark side... just what I had been predicting since June

Power2surf.com is now in the majority.

New Rules, - Simpler and Better!Bul**hit!

"We have made some important changes to our program." Changes that allow you to completely "screw-over" those members who only followed the rules that you set out!

As the result of the current situation in the autosurf industry with hundreds of sites not paying, closing down, scams, obvious ponzis and so on, it is very understandable that people are hesitant to risk their money on yet another program. Honestly now, does this really surprise you?" Why should they trust power2surf more than any other autosurf? "Damm good question, I think." And even if we have paid all our members, "Have you? I know of many that haven't received a dime from you! No that is not completely true, They did earn a few upgrades, but under this new plan, you have deleted them as if they never existed" what guarantee is that for us paying in the future? "After this little scam-play not much of one!"

The problem with all this distrust is that our members are finding it harder and harder to find referrals and even harder to find referrals that will upgrade. "And you think that the new plan will improve this HOW?"

The other problem is our Payout Rule, too many find it difficult to understand (some claim it's impossible, others don't even care to read it) and when they do, they are put off by the requirement of having to get 2 upgraded referrals before they can cash out. "The real problem was and will continue to be a failure to see any actual cash in hand. Now it appears that many of your members suffer this strange affliction, which makes it extremely difficult to convince others to part with hard earned dollars."

With these combination of factors our members are suffering "Members won't be suffering any more cause if they are smart they will purge themselves of this infected attempt to "bait 'n switch" and it's taking forever to get the cash out they most definitely deserve. "Yet you seem to have no problem taking money out as soon as it is convenient"

We can't just sit by and do nothing. "I suppose that you have to figure out how to 'screw-over' those potential new members or somehow get your current members to give you more money!" For months we have been looking for ways to improve our program (read your pocket), finally we have conceived a solution, gone is the Payout Rule, the Compensation Plan, the Surfing Vacations, the $10 signup bonus and most importantly the need to get upgraded referrals. 80% cash back guarantee "Is this not a slap in the face, or maybe a kick somewhere a bit more intimate? Yet it seems that 'Cash Flow' is still king - Might make more sense if you were to just charge the $2 that you now indicate a former '$10' upgrade is worth!" - You don't have to get referrals anymore! "Ultimate Spin-doctoring - interesting example of how you take any pressure off by simple switching a negative to a positive - now those who couldn't recruit in the past under the old rules now don't have to - they can just continue to donate 20% direct to your coffers...

500 credits - instead of the $10 signup bonus. "Real easy to give away something that costs you absolutely nothing, and therefore proving that it must be worth at least that much"

Earn 2% daily for surfing just 20 sites - was 40. "Less work for even less return, hhhmmm... Is there still a kernel of honesty buried under there? Or is it just a sugar-coated bribe to convince members to swallow all this Bul**hit?"

Advertising Packages (APs or upgrades) cost $10 and last 40 days - was 80. "see my previous comment...but at the very least a 50% cut on top of everything else"

You can upgrade with earnings "Many can say 'Been there done that!' We can see what this will get members under the next new plan" - no need for having upgraded referrals as before. "Since you had made it almost impossible - simply eliminate that requirement and hope that those who couldn't might come back."

Cash out minimum is $20 for free members and $10 for upgraded members we will charge a 5% cash out fee. "Make it attractive for them to upgrade with the miserly earnings. Not only do you make a 20% off the front end, you nail another 5% off the back end. And if they doesn't suit you, you can simply change the rules AGAIN and eliminate all upgrades from earnings"

All members can transfer smaller amounts to their account so that they will have enough money to purchase an AP. "I guess it makes sense if you can't attract the big spenders then become a haven for those who will let you fleece them by nickles and dimes."

Q: This 80% cash back guarantee means that you actually loose $2 per purchased AP, how is this a good thing ?

A: There are a couple things you must consider, first you are earning 80% of your spend back, so an AP will cost you only $2, that's an 80% saving. All you have to do is surf 20 sites per day for 40 days, if you surf less you will earn less of your spend back. "So if I read this right, I pay you $10 and have to surf 20 sites a day for 40 days! Just to earn $8? Can I pay you $2 and promise to surf... you can bill me if I don't! ....actually I am only kidding about the billing part. just checking to see if you are as gullible as you think your members are!" If all you want is quality advertising at an unbeatable price, then this is for you. "Quality? I think that we have already established what you thing your own advertising is worth." Some of your referrals would certainly appreciate more the quality of the traffic than the money making opportunity. "Oh really? I suppose those are the same ones who wanted to buy the waterfront vacation property (sight unseen) in Florida and got a great deal... Guaranteed to be only 500 feet from the waterline or their money back!

The second thing is that you are participating in a very sustainable program "unless you change your minds again and realize that it isn't!" (we have already been around for over 1 year, very few others have done that and even fewer are still paying their members), "Maybe that should that read that "For over a year, like many others have done, we have been paying very few of your members! Or maybe I am just being a stickler for detail." It's build to last so that you will not be wasting more time, effort and money on false promises. Note that purchasing more than 1 AP simply gives you more advertising, not more earnings like in other autosurfs. "Increased upgrade amount less 20% = is still less earnings in a members pocket. I suppose that could be be interpreted as don't spend more than you can afford to lose! Or on the other hand...If you can afford to donate more to our livelihood than feel free to do so?" If you want to turn power2surf into a cash machine and not just a great advertising option, you should consider spending some of your money purchasing traffic at other traffic exchanges and getting as many referrals as possible. "Note the return to emphasis on getting referrals... and now the other truth, not only do members have to spend money on (read as donate money to) power2surf.com but you want members to spend money on other sites as well to get as many referrals as possible"

Just how much are we expected to pay (donate) for this wonderful twist on things? Just curious, Are you sure that it will be enough?... wouldn't want to see you run short. Making changes to any program is not an easy task but we strongly believe that our new rules will benefit everyone. Free members

Just continue surfing and promoting (you don't have to, but if you get a downline you will earn more) as usual, any surfing earnings will be deleted, but you will keep your surfing bonus earnings, PTC earnings and commissions. 500 credits will also be added to your account. We will not make any changes to your account before you choose to upgrade or are ready to cash out when your account reaches 20$. "Now there is an interesting light on your intent toward free members - surf earnings will be deleted, rather a plain statement. Not hard to decipher the meaning there."

Upgraded members

When your AP(s) have expired you will receive $8 for each AP you have purchased + any bonuses and commissions. "So unless members agree to apparently donate $2 to you repeatedly they are SOL (Shi* Outta Luck)" The best part is that it doesn't matter if you have upgraded referrals or not, you will get paid! "But unless you have upgraded referrals there are no commissions to pay - hence the stress on spending money on getting as many referrals as possible and hoping that they buy into this barn swill or are as least as gullible and bad at math as the members who will be staying around..."

Please note that any AP purchased with your own earnings (compounding) will be deleted. "A true testament to the honesty of Power2surf.com's owner. 'Can't pay the bills so let's just pretend that they don't exist. After all people are so used hearing about being screwed-over by this or that on the internet, that if anyone screams about how they are treated here it will blend into the background' " This will actually benefit you because each AP cost you $10 and you would only receive $8 in return, i.e. we will spare you the loss of $2 per AP purchased with your own earnings. The earnings generated from the free $10 signup bonus will be deleted and replaced with 500 credits.

$10 for 500 credits does that make them worth $.0200 each? Oops! Sorry, I forgot, members would also have to surf every day for 40 days to get that full value.

But doesn't 20 credits per day for 40 days equal 800 credits earned , therefore the real worth is $10/800 =$.0125 each.

Hold on, have to add in that pesky bonus of 500 credits for upgrading, so the value of credits is 800 earned plus 500 bonus = 1300 total credits for a $10 upgrade which make them worth $10/1300 = $.0076 each.

But in reality, according to your explanation of the new rules, the very next upgrade will establish the real value of a power2surf.com credit... for only $2 (since you are lucky enough to get $8 from power2surf.com - maybe) you can get 1300 credits which makes them really worth $.0015 each unless you DON'T SURF every day which would actually make them WORTH MORE "

Am I the only one who sees something A**backwards about this?

I expect these changes will keep us very busy the coming weeks, "I would imagine that most of that time will be used for planning on what else you can spend OPM (other people's money) on. Or maybe putting a bit more thought into the next brainwave that will squeeze from between certain of your cheeks, especially when the pressure of these new rules builds to the point where a sudden re-evaluation (release) is necessary" so please be patient, we will get to your account ASAP. "So, for those not already feeling violated I assume this means that their time, too, will come." In the mean time just continue surfing and promoting as usual.
